Possible Tumour ?
Posted: 07-16-07 06:55am

Hi.
I have some strange sensations now and then.
These sensations happen rarely, about 5 or 6 times a month.

First I get dizzy, then some spots start flickering before my eyes that expand until I have difficulties in reading.

After 20-30 minutes I get a mild to medium headache that lasts 2-3 hours.

This happends about 2-3 times per year for the last 3 years.
These moments happen randomly, one time it happened in the disco, one time at home working.

I have to admit I am a computer addict, I sit about 6-8 hours per day on a computer, as a webdesigner, I am obliged to this.

I don't have speech impairmanets, hair loss, balance problems, numbness or loss of memory.

Is this a possible tumour or just an eye problem?

thanks

It sounds to me like you have migraine headaches.

I would definately see a doctor though to rule out something more serious, because headaches can be an indicator of a brain tumor and the sooner a tumor is found, the better (in most cases.)

Generally headaches stemming from tumors are in the same place everytime they occur (in the area where the tumor is located.)

That being said, I had migraines, tension headaches, and ice pick headaches in all areas of my head for many years before my tumor was found.. now that my tumor has been removed these headaches have basically stopped.

Good luck to you, and I'll be sure to keep you in my prayers!
