Q: Medication For Ulcer: Carafat works for me
asked by: curl on July 16th, 2007

I had heartburn when I was in my twenties and I had not forgotten till now. I was unable to eat anything coz whatever I ate, I vomit it after some minutes. I lost also about 5 pounds. The pain was unbearable; it’s as if something is burning inside your stomach. At that time the doctor has prescribed me with carafate which help to maintain the food in your stomach so that not to vomit it. It also helps to relieve the pain.

[QUOTE]Carafat is a drug normally prescribed to patients suffering from an ulcer (its actions protect the stomach from enzyme, acid and bile salts). It is also commonly known as Sulcrafate.[QUOTE}
