Hello, I am new to this forum. I am 30
years old. On the mission field in
Guatemala. Have one adpoted child who is
5. As well as a loving husband.
I had my first surgery that removed 16
inches of small bowel a year and a half
ago. I have been on Pentasa and 6MP with
no luck in the past. I have been doing the
Makers Diet (ok so, not to the book) and
also taking pro-biotocis as well as many
other vitamins. I have been pain free as
well as vomit free for the last year and a
half until July 4th when there were
fireworks in my tummy and we went to the
E.R. with the cat scan results showing
Crohns again in my small bowel. This
really hit my faith hard and I have been a
little down since then. I will be flying
back to the states to see a G.I. doc on
August 20th. He is new to me but comes
highly recommended through my cousin whom
has worked with him in the past in
surgery. So, all this to say what
medication choices do I have? I do really
wish to look to all natural sources but
also have been looking on the other hand
at Remacaid. Are there any other options
for me out there. I do not mind if they
are new and that I may be a trial patient
for them.
