Vibrations In Head

I have a vibration in my head.Right before I showed symptoms of having the flu chills etc. Few days later the vibrations started I went to the Dr.. he gave me a steroid shot, a week worth of allegra D and told me to chew gum to pop my ears. Nothing has worked I'm going on 2nd week of this I can't afford to take off anymore from work. About to go nuts Certain things set it off talkng on the phone, a car riding down the street. Others can make it dull like humming or whistling, but only for few seconds. Can someone help! P.S. I do not take any meds. and there is diabetes in family could this be a sign!!
