If you already had your appendix out, it could be scar tissue. Other than that, I really don't know. Sorry I could not be of more help.

hay im having the same problem!!!I got out of the hospital last night after 12hrs of being there,had 2docs see me.They diagnosed me with aUTI but ive had them so much in the past that my symptoms dont feel anything like it.I woke up yesterday morning throwing up yellow looking stomach fluid then it start to turn lime green after 3hrs of throwing up.Then I started to get pain in my lower right side hip/kidney area and abdomen which escalated to the point of going to the hospital.My temp was 96.6F which for me is low,I didnt have anything else wrong that they could find through testing that I knew of,I got antibiotics while there and after I left,I feel better now (6hrs later) but I stil have pain in my side and I'm getting what feels like acid reflux but could be due to docs not letting me eat or drink anything cause they decided at first to admit me b/c they seen a mass(feces calcified) in my appendix only to decide later to release me and I guess pray my appendix doesnt bust,they told me to come back if anything felt worse and to follow up with my reg. doctor whic I find stupid cause they had everything needed to figure out whats up whereas my doctor doesnt.I am going to another doctor for a 2nd opinion but I will try to remember to post what the end result of this was but I do hope it helped somewhat.
