Q: Genital Warts And Waxing

I recently was diagnosed with the HPV that causes genital warts. My partner and I are both being treated but i still have a wart that has not been fully removed.
MY QUESTION: I frequently get a brazilian wax done (all pubic hair removed).
I was open with my waxer about my situation due to the fact she goes down there alot. She was concerned if using wax on my genitals from the same bowl of wax could transfer the virus to other customers of hers when using the same wax. I really need to find out bewcause im anxious to get my wax done but she needs to look out for her other clients!

So can i transmit genital warts through wax?

Hmm. That's a good question. I am not sure. I would suggest calling your doctor or an STD clinic. They should be able to give you some answers.

Well, put it this way. If you didn't have this virus, but you knew that other customers did, and you were using the same wax bowl...would you feel safe? I know I wouldn't. Maybe you should just do it yourself at home, I do and it works fine and it's much cheaper! Plus I trust myself more.
Think about it, maybe this is where you got it in the first place.
