Hi - I just wanted to get some past experience from other women who have used the shot. I have a 2 year old son and have been on the shot since 5 weeks after I had him. My husband and I have been thinking it was time to try for another little one. i have been reading though and have read some really scary posts on how it's take years to get pregnant if they have even been able to and how it's been horrible bleeding - all sorts of stuff. I was just wondering how it went after you went off the shot and if you were doing it to try and get pregnant how long was it before you were able to conceive? Any input would be appreciated. Also, I was thinking about switching to the pill for the next 3-6 months after i miss my next due shot. advise?!

Thank you.
