You are using protection, you're on the birth control pill which means you are not having unprotected sex, that's not stupid. good for you for being responsible and using the pill instead of just not using anything at all like a lot of girls.

of course it's still likely that you could get pregnant as no birth control method is 100% effective, but if you've taken it correctly and haven't missed any pills or anything then the chances are very low.

i think your doing agreat job at atleast using protection if you dont want a baby at this time.

I wouldn't worry about it. I took the pill for 7 years and never used additional protection--my boyfriend/later my husband always ejaculated inside me. I never wound up pregnant. I was very good about taking the pill on time and not skipping pills and using backup protection when I was on antibiotics. After that, I used condoms for a year and never got pregnant (had some emotional problems caused by the pill, I discovered and had to stop taking it). I did get pregnant on my 2nd cycle trying to conceive, so obviously, I am pretty fertile.
