Gerber Baby Cereal Recalled
Company Pulls Cereal Over Concerns Of Potential Choking Hazard

WASHINGTON -- Gerber recalled some of its baby food over a potential choking hazard.
The company is pulling its organic rice and oatmeal cereals because some of the packages contain lumps that won't dissolve in milk. The clumps can cause young children to choke. Gerber said it has gotten complaints of choking but no reports of injury.
The FDA said it agrees with the voluntary recall, which includes nearly 500,000 packages.
Customers can call the baby food giant to get a refund.
