if your period is due in 2 weeks then you're just ovulating right now. you wouldn't be pregnant yet.

anyway, i tested with a first response 4 days before my period was due and got my positive.

dont worry about it. it doesnt happen very often. and if you dont want to get pregnant use condoms aswell or dont have sex.

you ovulate 14 days *before* your period, so if you have a regular cycle it's pretty easy to keep track of.

i know that sperm can survive for up to 5 days (i think it's 5...), so to be safe you should avoid having unprotected sex from about 5 days before you should ovulate to about 2 days after. if you have a regular 28 day cycle, you would avoid sex from days 10-17. though if you're ttc, you should aim for sex during that time and most people say that doing it every other day is best.

this is just what i've learned, it might not be 100% accurate but i know it's close.

I started to realize I was pregnant when I was about 2 to 3 weeks along, I could just tell. But I think everyone is different on the test, everyones body releases different levels of pregnancy hormone so who knows some people can tell when they are 4 weeks along some not untill they are 5 or 6. I couldn't tell untill about one to two weeks after I missed my period.
