I missed the last three days of my pills
and then took them all at once. Now I am
barely bleeding, and I'm wondering if that
may be because of the pill or because I'm
pregnant. I didn't have sex all week
until after I took the last three pills.
Advice?

You had sex after the missed pills? You
could be pregnant, yes. Any time you miss
more than 2 pills, you have to use
protection for 7 days. You would have been
safe if you'd had sex before
the missed pills. It's too soon to take a
pregnancy test unfortunately; you'll have
to wait 4 weeks for an accurate test.
However, it is also possible that the
missed pills stimulated your body to begin
your period, but then you confused it with
the very high dose of 3 pills you took.
You should only take at max 2 pills a day
when you miss pills.

Sounds to me like you started bleeding
because you missed your pills but there is
definite possibility of pregnancy because
you missed more than 2. If you miss 2 then
you take them both the next day, if you
miss three you should not take 3 that will
not help you. My doctor always tells me
everytime she gives me a new script that
if I miss two just take them both on the
third day, more than two then i have to
wait until the first sunday of my next
period to start again and in between to
use condoms because I will not be
protected, so for future refrence keep
that in mind. It is easy to screw up the
pills by missing and not taking them when
you are supposed to and get
pregnant...primary reason why so many
people get pregnant on the pill. I would
wait at least 3 weeks and take a test but
in the meantime take the pills like you
are supposed to.
