Q: Pregnant Or Stomach Disorder?

There is something strange going on with my body and I need advice. I'm a 23 year old female, thin, and healthy. The past three weeks, right before my period and for two weeks after, I have been have been feeling nausea, dizziness, and been having mood swings (such as crying for no reason). My stomach feels as though it has swelled up to the size of a football, and is tight and feels as though it is full of air. Some days I get waves of anxiety. This has never happened to me before, ever, and I have been to the doctor and have taken pregnancy tests, but they say I'm not pregnant. I'm not constipated, just carrying around an uncomfortably large stomach. Please, any insight would be helpful.

there's no way to know what's wrong until you get to the doctor. those symptoms could be anything from gas and bloating to something a lot more serious. whether it's pregnancy or not, i think you should get checked out asap. is the bloating in your stomach or your abdomen? your stomach is actually pretty high up, on the upper part of your abdomen above your belly button. if it is below that it could be anything from intestinal problems to something to do with your reproductive organs (uterus and ovaries) or you could be pregnant, in which case you should see a doctor anyway. all anyone can do on here is guess and that isn't going to help you if it's something serious (hopefully it isn't).
