Have you seen a naturopath? I would recommend you seek one with a lot of experience or through recommendation. They will probably suggest you start by doing an internal cleansing program. One that worked for me was 'colonix' by drnatura. The next thing the naturopath might suggest is changing your diet. There are many things that can cause gas in the stomach and down into the colon especially the combination of foods. Different foods digest slower or faster and if combined will start fermenting causing the gas you are experiencing. These are just recommendations as I am not totally sure what you are experiencing just from what you posted. As for the good bacteria it is necessary in your colon for proper elimination and health, but the naturopath can definately help you out with all that.
