Just wondering if anyone knows if pancreatitis can be related to gallstones. I had pancreatitis about 4 years ago, and never found a cause. And no, it was not excessive alcohol... and if I hear that question one more time I might scream Smile And for the past 2 months, I've been having intense pain in my upper right abdomen, right below the rib cage. It began to feel like the pancreatitis again, so I went to the ER. All my blood work came out fine, but they are thinking its my gallbladder. They are running more tests now, but I was just wondering if they could correlate somehow?? Thanks!
