I saw a cashier in the grocery store. I was so frightened by him. He got big lumps (like pea, peanut, or as big as a grape) all over his face, under hair, arms and hands. Looks like those corals (no offense). I was so scared. He was helping me. I'm wondering if anyone knows what kind of disease that is and is that contagious? Thanks.

very shallow

its ok to wonder but to be scared of someone by the way they look is pathetic.

chances are if he was working at a grocery store its NOT contagous
and how do you know he wasnt born like that?

learn to except people for who they are and not what they look like and maye youll have a happier less terrifieing life

Thanks for your reply. I guess this is nothing shallow. I wasn't judging him by how he looks. Can you say it is normal that someone looking like this? You must agree that was some type of disease. And I guess nothing wrong to be wondering what type of disease it is for someone is curious. I wasn't judging him by saying he looks ugly or he looks disgusting. Even if he was born like that, I guess you probably agree there must be something wrong.

I also assumed that is not contagous. but if someone gets hired, I don't think they check the medical report of him though.

Well, I don't mind you saying "I would have a less terrifiing life". I know who I am. and I guess it's nothing wrong to express the feeling of scareness because of the look of someone. Different people have different level of tolerence. I know I can never be a doctor or nurse, because I get scarced even if I see a bleeding scratch from pet paws. Why should feel ashame to express that?

im not saying to feel ashamed to express that but you WILL get others opinions when you do, like mine, that wont be the nicest thing you'll hear

and stop calling it a disease- you dont know what it is
its probably acne
he could have been burned in a fire
you dont know his life so dont call him out on things

if it was contageous he wouldnt have been hired
im pretty sure he adressed what it was when they interviewed him

Again, Thank You For Your Reply
I hope you are right. I seriouly hope he is alright as well. You have your right to say whatever you like. I'm not pointing at you. You didn't see what was like and you don't know. I almost entered med school if not because I'm afraid of seeing bleeding or injured people. I can tell what are acnes and what was from burning. The lumps are not like rash or pimples. They are serious lumps. If you have seen the latest "pirates of caribbean". Somehow they remind me of how "Bootstrap" Bill Turner looked like. You might be too sensitive to the word "disease". I was trained in a science background, many things means diseases. acne is, allergy is. no big deal.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows what type thing the symptom could be. I guess it is very rare. Thanks for your opinions though.
