Is it possible to stop periods once they
have started. if so how and how long does
it take before they stop once they start.

Well that depends on what you mean. If you
mean that you don't want one next month
then yes, it is possible to prevent your
next period with certain kinds of birth
control pills.
However, if you mean "I have my period
right now and really need it gone in a
day!" or something similar, then no, I'm
afraid there's nothing you can do.

Hi
i am 37 years girl, i am married since 9
years ago but with no children. I have no
problem with my body concerning of my
reproductive system and i usually have
regular period but recently my period have
stopped suddenly for about 25 days as i
did have it this recent month, and i have
negative test pregnancy twice.
Would you please tell me about the
possible reasons that might cause my
period to stop.

My period also stopped when i was
younger... noone really knows why.. but
they put me on birth control pills to make
it regular and that helped (i liked not
having my period lol but it wasnt
healthy)

it is first time i have such problem that
why i am very upset plus i do not like to
have any medicine because it is chemical
stuff at the end that i do not like to
enter to my body, so i do not see that it
will help me.
i hope to find the real cause that stop my
period and i hope that will not be for
long time as i am keeping wait for my
period.
i will let the nature to has it's roll.
