This is a problem that i have been having for about 4 days now. The other night before i went to bed i ate a bunch of chips. After i was done, my esophagus kind of hurt, but i thought nothing about it, thinking that a piece of chip was stuck there. Well, when i woke up in the morning, it still felt exactly the same, as if a piece of chip was still stuck in the bottom of my esophagus. It has been almost 4 days, and it still hurts. Sometimes it feels like acid reflux, but there is a bit of a difference. It always hurts when i swallow food and usually when i drink. It tends to hurt even more when i swallow pills (i am just finishing up malaria medicine because i was in Africa for two weeks). This happened once before last week, but it wasn't nearly as bad, and it went away for about a day, for the most part. Any suggestions or help would be great. I am only 17 years old, and in good shape. Thanks in advance for any help!
