Q: Ovulation After Stopping Birth Control?

Hi everyone

I took my nuvaring out on June 23rd, and got my period as expected on June 27th. I decided not to use nuvaring anymore, and did not put it back in of course. Does anyone know generally how long it could take me to ovulate again? I used an ovulation calender which said I would ovulate around the 11th (but that is going off of a regular cycle, not messed with by birth control). Has anyone ovulated right after stopping their birth control, or how long did it take you?

My mother ovulated immediately. My brother was conceived that way; it was planned, they just didn't expect it to happen that fast.

Other women may take up to 6 months.
