Q: Please Help, the Cps Has the Kids

hi!! I have a problem. My sister just got her kids taken away from her. She has two boys. The littlest one is three months old and his name is brayden. He weighs about 10 lbs. That's the one i'm trying to get out of cps. The other boy is cameron and my other sister is trying to get him out also. Anyways, the drs diagnosed brayden with hyperthroidism, and also said he is a failure to thrive. I was wondering if anyone has been through this stuff with cps, and if you have any advice. Right now me and my boyfriend is trying to get him, but i feel it's going to be a long battle with cps. Any info would be much of help. Does anyone know the rights of the mother?

Cps is a B@tch to deal with. it will be a long fight. make sure you tell your sister to do everything that cps ask her to do like parenting classes and such. usually if cps has family they can place the kids with they do.

Failure to Thrive
the dr said the baby was a failure to thrive. Because he's three months old and only weighs 10 lbs. Like she's not feeding him. Everytime i see them that baby is always eating. He's just not gaing any weight. They took an x-ray of his belly and nothing was there. they said it was gas. So now they think she's not feeding him, and she is. I see her everyday and she's always at my house. Now the oldest one is three, and i have no clue on why they took him

my friends son was failure to thrive. he got put on a special formula. he is now 2 years old and healthy. dont get her hopes up thinking taking parent classes is gonna get her kids back right away.

make sure you tell your sister no matter what do not let them have her to sign a temp order saying they got custody till things get figured out. dont do that. temp orders last like 18 months

She wont know anything else until next friday. I guess thats when she'll know what they want her too do. But now the grandparents of the three year old wants full custody of cameron. She nows she's freaking out, because she loves the boys with everything. I don't know what she would do if they were permantly removed from her. That's why were trying to keep the kids in the family somehow. If cameron goes to the grandparents, she'll never see him, they dont' get along very good

gz where's dalicia.

i think a while back ago she said that if the kids get taken away the rights go to the parents of the mother, if they dont want them or cant have them then the rights go to the parents of the father.

i could be wrong though, don't quote me on that.

So don't let her sign a temp order?? I'll tell her that. She had court today for this and really nothing was said. They were going over the papers that accused her of doing. Will they make her sign the temp order?

yes the family can get them if the cps finds them fit. in my case my parents are Nuts! or as the cps said mentally unstable Laughing so he was in a foster home.till his father got involved.

She cant afford any lawyers. And the judge appointed her one. All these lawyers and judges here are all friends. It's hard to get a good lawyer here. cAMERON'S dad lives with the grandparents that are trying to take him away, and he's been in prison. The babies dad doesn't want anything to do with him, and my sister's husband signed the birth certificate for brayden. So he took on the responsibilty of that little boy. SO he's in it too. I just don't know what to tell them
