Im thinking about going on it. I just dont really want my mother to know. she would flip or something. Should i just ask her or go around her?

If you don't want to tell her you don't have to.

You can go to a planned parenthood and get a free woman's health check up (which includes a pap smear), you need to be getting these every year if you are sexually active. Then then can prescribe for you birth control pills.
