Q: I Can't Sleep
asked by: Rosie H on July 12th, 2007
Extremely eHealthy
I have not been diagnosed with anxiety but I have had panic attacks in the past and I get extremely overwhelmed very fast. They tries to put me on meds but I couldnt handle them. I do not know what to do. heres whats going on-

Ever since my surgery I have not been able to fall asleep. I have never had this problem, until my shoulder surgery, so I do not know what to do. I am late to work , I am very cranky and nasty lately. I look awful and and I am just tired of feeling this way.

Does anyone have any suggestions or experiences like mine? Is there a way I can treat this at home whithout medication?

Please help, this is making me lose my mind.

yeah i wouldnt see a doctor for any meds
you know what you could try is go to an herbal vitamin store and see what thewy recommend
have you tried doing an activity or like excersizing before you go to bed?

You can go to the health food store and get some Melatonin, its an herbal supplement, actually a hormone, all natural that helps you sleep. But really with the pain in your shoulder I would think the Tylenol Pm would be good for you. You have to take a huge amount to damage your liver, as long as you dont drink with it, you will be fine.

Thank You ...
Thanks for all your comments. I will try the herbal supplement. I like things that are natural better than man made chemicals. Well with the exception of pain killers = }

I have never heard of this malotinin (??) but it sounds like it could work for me. Thanks again for the quick responses.

Congrats to the_girlfriend on your baby!
