This drug is def used for helping with psychotic disorders. It's an antipsychotic drug. Never heard of it for treating alzheimers disease. But I have given it to patients for the behaviors that sometimes come with the disease itself. For treating they commonly use Aricept, Namenda, Razadyne, and a coulpe of other drugs out there.
