For as long as i can remember, which is a pretty long time, i've been experiencing rectal bleeding off and on. I can remember i would come home in second grade and my underwear would be so saturated with blood that it would actually show through the outer layer of clothing, although that was rare.

Anyway that was a long time ago and im now 18 but experiencing a similar problem to a lesser extent. I suppose the problem never completely went away but it isnt really a consistent enough problem for me to have been to worried about it. So heres the deal, generally i dont get much exercise at all but sometimes when i do move around a bit i get pain and bleeding in my rectum. For instance walking home from school (2.5 miles) maybe one day out of 15 it would sting painfully and have some light to moderate bleeding. I always just shrugged it off as chafing, but i suppose thats not very realistic.

Occasionally after a BM i may also notice a tiny bit of blood on the toilet paper and generally disregard that as well.

Some_Kid,

This is not normal and you should have someone look at it. It could be that you have a hemorrhoid that is opened with chafing or stretching of some sort, even with a bm.
Please go see your doctor and have it looked at because of the area it is quite sensitive to infection. Please let us know what you have decided to do and the results. Good luck.
