Hi there. My son is having chronic
diarrhea , itchy skin rash , he is losing
weight ... He is 7 years old. I'm scared
because celiac disease is in my husbands
family and my son is having all of this
symptoms that i have menshioned before...
I'm taking him to doctor tomorrow but I
was looking for some answers or advices.

Hope that the doctors have some good
thoughts and advice for you. luckily, CD
is becoming much more widely known and
physicians are getting better about
including that in the work up for these
issues. Please be sure to mention the
family history to your child's physician.

It would probably be a good idea to have a
food alergy test ran on him. its three
hundred dollars that insurance does not
cover but its well worth it because it
doesn't just tell you if you have celiac
desease but lets you know of other
allergies as well.
