I was reading an article in a health magazine yesterday that was about women getting corrective surgery on their genitalia.
There were two sides on the platter: 1. They opted for surgery to tighten their vaginas after childbirth for either enhanced sexual pleasure or for incontinence reasons and 2. They didnt' like the way their labia looked.
My reactions were, in order of appearance;
"Ouch!" (crossed legs instinctively).
"Man, that lady's husband told her while they were having sex that, 'honey, it's like a train tunnel down here'. That would be awful!"
"Has a man ever in the history of the world turned down sex because of a way a woman's labia
looked?"
"Freakin' porn...now women are having corrective surgery because they think they don't have the 'ideal looking' babychute."
And then...the insecurity. I am female, afterall.
I wonder if my... yeah, I'm sure it's alright. "Honnnneee?" I yell down the stairs... and ask the question.
