Hi there

I should start by saying that i have had numerous fillings over the years, and most of my teeth have had a filling at one time or another.

Just recently, after returning from holiday, i have noticed that a tooth that has been filled has begun to ache when i eat on it. I notice a pain at the very base of the tooth and have so far avoided eating on this side.

I have also noticed just under my jaw, on both the right and left hand side, that i have two small swellings, almost like two tiny 'balls'. I have applied pressure to my jaw where the tooth is, and it also aches a little.

Would appreciate any thoughts that you may have.
