Well you posted this about 24 hours ago and by now, you've probably started bleeding. I too had a medical abortion a month ago today and I too was worried about it being unsuccessful, but it will happen. Just be warned that the bleeding WILL be obsessive and you will need to be prepared for the stomach cramps and heavy blood flow. I'd seriously recommend keeping a hot water bottle with you at all times, especially for the first five days. Take care x

Getational 12 weeks or less:
-----

The WHO recommended dose is 200mcg, every 6 hours, 4 times in a row. So 800mcg in total. It is also recommended that you do it all vaginal.

If you do not abort in the first 24 hours, take a 12 hour break and repeat.

Gestation 13 to 22 weeks:
-----

400mcg every 6 hours, 5 times in a row, vaginal. So 2000mcg in total

it is recommended that abortions in the second trimester be done under medical supervision. A blood transfusion may be required due to heavy bleeding, and the expulsion of the placenta needs to be monitored.
