Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
The urine pregnancy tests done very early in pregnancy can show you false negative results as the kits are calibrated ones, so unless the hormone levels in urine reach a certain level, they do not show positive results (usually starts showing positive results after about 7-10 days of missed/abnormal period, or about 18-20 days after ovulation). Few women can experience period like bleeding during expected period time during first few months of pregnancy which is also known as Decidual bleeding. If you are pregnant, it is possible that you are having decidual bleeding (especially if the bleeding occurred around your expected period time). If you suspect chances of pregnancy, or if symptoms have been persistent, you should consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist at the earliest for thorough examination (to confirm pregnancy related changes/signs in body) and blood/serum HCG level test (to confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately). Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately.
Take care.
