My First post.

had my second gout attack a week ago. After stopping drinking beer for 10 days. Paradox. Went two years without an attack. I live in Thailand and UK and only get the attacks whilst in asia. I also snore and probably have sleep apnea.

I weigh 102 to 107 kgs but am pretty fit.

I smoke cigarettes only when I drink. When I drink I drink a lot and subsequently smoke a lot. Then sleep badly and snore a lot. Eat a lot of seafood whilst in Asia.

To offset all the bad things I do. I take lots of supplements. Berocca, milk thistle, silymarin, selenium, 1000mgvit c. one pharmaton tablet daily.

I also drink acv with honey, lime juice and a good lug of olive oil and pepper. tastes great by the way.

Im not going to drink any alcohol until my ankle goes down completely.

Good luck to everyone here with their quests for stopping this bugger of a pain.

I am not sure that u are offsetting anything with those supplements, the drinking and seafood and smoking really hurts u. if you keep going the way you're going, the attacks are gonna get worse and more frequent. try to maintain ideal bodyweight and drink like once in 2 weeks and keep the seafood to the same frequency. i'm not a doctor but thats what my doctors have told me.
