I was diagnosed with Manic Depression/Bi-Polar Disorder, as well as ADHD at the age of 13. I am 28 now and just getting back on meds I had been off for years. My question is why would my doctor prescribe me Adderall, Lithuim, Zoloft, and Seroquel?? Is that TOO much? I feel like it is! I take 1.5 10mg Adderall 3 times a day, 2 to 3 50mg Seroquel, 1 50mg Zoloft, and 2 100mg Lithuim pills at night. I mean I am sure my doc knows what she is doing. But this is only my 3rd visit and how can I be sure that she really even read my medical history? I know she requested them a month before our first visit and had them on her desk but I wouldn't think she had time to read them it was VERY thick! I just don't know what to do. She is very nice and easy to talk to and that is so hard to find. I just feel like I'm a walking medicine cabinet!

I think you should talk to your doctor or find a new one. I am sure you will be able to find a doctor you like. I had a bad experience with a doctor who prescribe me addictive medications, and he would lie and tell me they were not addictive. He was not professional and serious, but I was able to find other doctors that were alot better for me.

I ask the same thing I have major depressive dissorder and a panic dissorder with symptoms of bi-polar

I take lithium 450 mg twice a day, lexapro 5mg once a day, wellbutrin sr twice a day 150 mg, xanax 0.25mg as needed

I have been through 3 other anti depressant as well.

I know how you feel, are the pills make me worse or better and its hard to take all this and not know which one is helping and which one might be hurting you.

But thats not alot of meds, I work with mentally handicapped patients and some of them take 20 pills every day
