Q: tonsils removed , another set ?

I had my tonsils removed last year because I was getting all sorts of food stuck in them. I used to be able to feel them in the back of my throat.
When they were removed and biopsied they showed hyperplasia, and chronic infection.
Now I am still feeling something in the back of my throat, however I've looked and my tonsils are not growing back. Is it possible that I am now having problems with one of the other sets of tonsils?
Thanks.

I believe that you only have one set of tonsils. And is it itching in the back of your throat? Can you describe the sensation a little better?
