hello, i'm 26 year old male, and i'm new here.

i've been having recurring tonsillitis these past few weeks, and also been fighting my sinusitis for years.

these last few days the symptoms are rather strange to me because it's something i haven't felt before.

i'm feeling very tired and exhausted, nausea, mild headache, cold sweat on my face and back of my head from a single blow of wind, on evening, night and in cold places, stiff back neck and right shoulder, upper right nostril feels super sticky with mucus but i can't blow it out, and i also have trouble thinking clearly.

i've been to a few doctors,
few doctors suggest me to get my tonsil removed, and after i got my x-ray result they also suggest me to have my sinus drained since my right sinus behind my cheek is filled with mucus, and my left sinus is half filled.

currently i'm taking antibiotic (levofloxacin) halfway through, but i'm planning to get both surgery done this week, but i'm really worried sick about these strange symptoms especially the cold sweat.

can anyone help me?

I would listen to the doctors and try and have faith in what they are suggesting. The cold sweat is probably a symptom of your body fighting off all this yucky stuff and you may have a low grade fever. I am not a doctor, but I have struggled with sinusitis for a while now and am scheduled to have my tonsils removed in November. I bet you are just worrying yourself and this is why you don't feel like you "think straight". One thing you may try, maybe several months after you are healed up from the surgery is a neti pot to help drain your sinuses. Good Luck and keep in mind that what you are struggling with is very common.

thank you paule,
i hope what you said is true, eitherway, tomorrow i'll be going back to the doctor andmost probably do a presurgery check up.

it's a bit hard to find neti pot in my country, since most ppl don't really care or don't know they have sinus problem until they're really ill, then they will go straigt to a doctor to get medication.

today i've just tried neti pot(using a normal house teapot filled with warm water and saline salt)... and i have to say, it clears up A LOT..... i breathe easier and feeling more energetic than before!

i don't know if that might be gazebo effect, but it really feels good.
