Q: tongue piercing

okay. I just got my tongue pierced [[Aug.4th 2008]] it is the 6th right now.
i know its supposed to hurt or what not.
that is not what is bothering me.

okay

before i got it pierced.
i was sick
i had acute bronchitis.
but i was told i would be okay to get my tongue pierced...
so i did it.
i have to let you all know i have been doing what i was told.
washing my mouth out every time i eat,drink,smoke and so on.
anyways.
i looked at my tongue today.
and this stuff is coming out from where my piercing is like on the bottom part tho..
i dont know if it could be the phlegm or if it is infection...
it looks like my phlegm..
but even if it is...
is that dangerous?
do i need to take it out..
i mean i just dont know what to do..

Do you still have the ring in? Are you washing with listerine? I know they say use 50/50 dillution of listerine and sterile water. When I thought my tounge was infected I used full strength listerine despite the burning sensation and after a few days it got much better! I even had a little scab for under the ball on the barbell. I know you mentioned brochitis..do you use an inhailer? If so maybe that caused an infection.
