Q: Toddler having white stools

Hello,

My son was sick with the flu (as was I) this past Tuesday and Wednesday. He returned to daycare on Thursday because he was seeming fine. Since then he has been having recurring white, loose stools. Other than the strange bowel movements you could never tell that he is sick. He is the same happy energetic boy as always. How long should I wait before calling his pediatrician? (it's been 3 days now).

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

You should probably notify the doctor of this problem since it's been three days. White stool can mean a number of things, but some should definitely be treated.
