My Urologist has told me I can take Viagra up to 200 mg at a time. I am concerned about such a high dose ... I am age 65+. Does anyone have experience with long term use of high dosage? I always heard that 100mg was the max. But if your doctor said so, I wouldn't worry much. Viagra has an excellent safe record.

Viagra is available in the form of tablet and is meant to be taken orally. Ideally it is to be taken almost an hour before the sexual activity. However, Viagra can be taken anytime from 4 hours to 30 minutes before sexual activity. It takes 30 - 45 minutes for showing Viagra's effect and this effect lasts for almost four hours. If you take Viagra after a high-fat meal (such as fish & chips, cheeseburger or French fries), it may take a little longer to start working.more info at unapproved link removed

150mg Viagra gives me stronger and lasting erection
I am 64 and have been taking viagra 100mg in the past
4 years. Recently the 100mg does not give me the erection hard enough to enter my partner.

I switched to the generic viagra professional (I guessed is 150mg) which give me firm erection in about 10 minutes and maintained full erection during the whole
action (actual vaginal intercourse from insertion to ejaculation about 10 minutes).

Well first of all let me say that I am not a doctor but I am a man and for awhile when i was overweight I had high blood pressure. The medication that I was taking definitely affected my erection capability. After changing my habits, and losing weight my blood pressure was back to normal and I was able to quit taking BP medication. Erections returned but were not as powerful as when I was younger. A friend referred me to a nature meds site and I discovered ED products that really blew me away. Talk about a raging hard-on. Anyway, I think if you are having problems you should see a specialist first.

The Max amount you can take is 100mg, if it does not work then try cialis by 20mg. Never more then the doctor prescribe. There are serious side effects.

No, the max amount is what your doctor approves. My doctor (Urologist) approved of 150mg dose. I am a big strong guy in relatively good health but on very heavy beta blockers. I weigh 260pds.

Having been a regular user of viagra/ generic viagra for many years I would just like to caution others about getting too enthusiastic with the dose I took 150 mg one night ( looking for that mega performance - typical male ego thing and woke to a roaring ear noise i sustained what I believe to be a mini stroke in my inner ear, blowing a blood vessel or starving the ear of blood some how, thereby damaging the nerve, resulting in ringing tinitus which has been none stop now for a month and pretty loud and very annoying at times. Think I'm lucky though some have suffered massive hearing loss

I'm a very fit 47 year old, run distances and no known health issues. Looks like I've buggered my hearing now though and it's a high price to pay. So my advice listen to your body, if you feel pressure behind the eyes etc cut back the dose because what happened to my ears has happened to people's. optic nerve.

So be careful with it guys, behave responsibly it's a powerful drug

You can try bi-mix and tri-mix injections which depending on dosage will give you a 2 - 4 hour erection. Also, there are vacuum erection devices that are good for thirty minutes.

Hello all,
I have been using Indian Generic Sildenafil. I have found if I stay away from butter or something fatty on my biscuit in morning, or sausage full of fat or bacon WILL inhibit the effect. My wife has a vaginal obstruction, so I stimulate her clitoris until she has her orgasm or orgasms. She does same by massaging the bottom side of the penis shaft just behind the meatus and cleft of the glans. Sometimes I wear a condom and stimulate her rectum with a gloved hand. When she is comfortable I insert my penis in her anus and have anal sex. She has quite good orgasm or series of 2-4 orgasms at times. When we were both young she was capable of 10-13 or sometimes more orgasms! She is 82 and I am 76. We cannot have sex as frequently as when we were young, unfortunately!

I have found if I take a 100mg generic Viagra the day before I have sex and ejaculate, and take another 100mg 30-60 minutes before sex the next day, I feel it is more easier to stimulate. Even the following day (day 3) I can sometimes have a fair erection and masturbate until I climax. Has anyone else had this experience? I would like to try 150 mg to make the erection better and firmer. Length is 7" and the girth is 7" as well on a good day.

I am 65 and have been taking Viagra over 10 years starting from 50 mg, later 100 mg and now taking 125 mg (take half tablet of 150 mg (generic) plus half of 100 mg simply using the scissor to cut the tablet over a small piece of soft paper tissue). I start taking the 125 mg about 6 months ago because the 100 mg failed to give me the hardness and to maintain full erection after penetration.

The 125 mg dosage now gives me satisfactory results. I have not yet tried the 150 mg.
