A group of my friends went to a strip club, and one of them ended up having sexual contact with a dancer. Although he states that it only lasted for a minute or two he is still going crazy wondering if he was infected by her. Its to early for him to get tested and we are just wondering what are the chances he contracted something from this lady? Especially HIV?

Hello and welcome to eHealth forum!

Yes, it is possible to contact STD from a partner with dubious STD status. Please consult a doctor or go to a STD clinic and ask your friend to get tested for STDs like herpes, gonorrhea, chlamydia and HIV. Most of these may not cause symptoms for years. Please consult your gynecologist regarding this as a confirmed diagnosis is not possible on net. Hope this helps. Take care!
