Ok guys, I wanted your opinion on how long did it take for your to see results from your splint treatment. I am 3 days into my splint. I do notice my bite has changed. I can feel my odd symptoms of dull pain in my mouth and throat going down but it's not completely gone. I wonder if it could be related to nerve pain? I appreciate your responses. Thank you.

As mentioned in a previous post, 4 weeks into a NM splint and only a slight reduction in pain intensity. I'm thinking i'll be in pain for a long time.

Wish I had better news, maybe you progress faster.

I have had my splint for 6 months with as many adjustments that could be made to it. My bite did change but the pain did not. The muscles in my jaw never relaxed, therefore I had to go for Botox injections today. Very painful and very expensive. I hope you are a fast healer!

I'm about 1.5 weeks in my lower splint which i wear during the day and a night splint at night. So far, I can tell my bite has changed but my symptoms still remain. It may have gotten a hair better but not dramatic.

Is 1.5 weeks still early?
