TMJ or TN symptoms ? Posted: 05-08-08 15:55pm


i was wondering if its possible for TMJ to cause some (TN) symptoms, im pretty sure i have TMJ and have had it ever since i had braces because my jaw crunches and i get alot of head pains but not usualy headaches, i get both eye and ear pain as well and sometimes ringing in the ears. But today i was laying back and i got this shocking electric pain starting in my jaw and shooting into my head and lasting 3 seconds, just like TN is described i dont know if this is just my TMJ acting up on me of if i have TN any feed back would be very much appreciated im 17 years old

ok first of what is TN? this is all typical of tmd just get into a good doctor and all will be fine
