TMJ or brain tumor ?

alright iv posted here before so you may recognize my user name. I hope you dont get sick of hearing from me which you may, but i really need some advice. Latly iv been posting in the "brain tumor" forum and not getting much luck probably because i shouldnt be posting there without other symptoms anyhow.
I do have TMJ, this much is obviouse, i got it when i got braces but at first it was just poping noises, 5 months after i got my braces off i notices weird sharp very short lasting head pains on both sides of my head and ocasionaly above my eye. this worried me alot so i went to the doctor and he did a neuro exam which turned out normal. the head pains continued for 4 months so he then ordered me a CT scan along with a blood test a heart monitor and urine test. all of the tests came back normal but im still waiting for the CT scan results because it takes a little long then the other tests and they should come in next week. My problem is the headaches have recently changed from the sharp short lasting pains to a constant tight pressure around the back of my head and sides of ym head and an ache in my forehead. this headache lasts most the day with periods of it going away then comming back. This worries me alot and i read that CT scans can often miss brain tumors. Im wondering if you think this is my TMJ getting worse or if i should ask for an MRI to rule out a tumor if the CT scan results come back negative. I also spoke with my mom to get me into a chiropractor in the meen time. Im 17 year old white male in reletively good shape. thank you

the tmj may just be getting worse---i highly doubt that you have a toumor--getting in to a chiropractor will help with this. i get this all the time. I have headaches galore.

thank you for the reply. I am quite certain that the head pains earlier were caused either from my neck or jaw or both because when i cracked my neck they would resolve. But im just not sure why im getting full on headaches for the last 4 days in a row as they never were headaches before just head pains. But since i know the head pains werent anything seriouse i doubt these headaches are either. i just dont know why im getting them now. Maybe its from cracking my neck to get rid of my previouse headpains turned into tense muscles and now im getting headaches

its because the jaw does something called referr pain----it makes you have a headache or neckache or even a tooth ache or earaches and you dont have either---the chiro will bea ble to help you with that.

YOu should never crack your neck on your own---if you dont know what you are doing you can cause more harm than good.

i agree
i get crazy things in my head,on top of head and behind eye. I had all the same stuff done. Its the tmj man. I've been using valium for a week and teh jaw muscles have loosened up alot and pain is 60%less. Then tonight i had a steak and boom.... back to weird pains and dizzyness, lightheadness and spasms. Don't worry, i'm sure its the tmj...it sucks. A chiro did help when i was getting those symptoms and arm pain, numbness.

alright so i went to the Chiro. I had 2 visits and he booked me for another 6 visits. He says that there are three things wrong in my neck plus the TMJ. he says that the pains in my head will go away after therapy and that the CT Scan will show anything if there is something there and that i should not have to get an MRI. Should i trust him?
