On 4/30/08 after taking a prescribed sleeping medication, Ambien, I sleptwalked and fell resulting in me crushing my jaw, losing all of my upper molar and loss of my rightside upper gum and bone. on 9/8/08 i underwent TMJ joint replacement surgery. Prior to the surgery I had 100% overbite and 14mm mouth opening. Currently I am experiencing severe pain where the implants are, inability to chew food and increased amount of insomnia, PTSD, and anxiety. Unfortunately I due to circumstances beyond my control I am unemployed and have no hospitalization. Soon after the surgery my mouth opening was at 30mm with extreme pain. I was not able to purchase the therobite due to the cost of it. I am looking or anyone that can suggest how I can continue getting the additional surgeries I need and how I can deal with the increased amount of pain. I might add I have no family doctor. I only received the surgery because I was recommended by a friends of mine employer who is an orthodontist. At the present time I am unsure as to whether the hospital charges will be taken care of . I had to pay Cleveland unversity Oral Surgery residencey school a reduce rate prior to getting the TMJ replacement surgery.
