I've had TMJ problems for a long tie and wear a bite guard, but need to see a specialist. Unfortunately I can't right this moment.

The problem is, my headaches and becoming more and more frequent and NOTHING gets rid of them.

They always start in the morning with stiff neck and shoulders, and a mild heaches. As the day goes by, my nose becomes freezing cold and the headache gets worse. By evening it peaks. The pain becomes unbearable and led to me taking TOO many ibuprofen/codeine pills and overdosing last summer.

My doctor gave me a combination of painkillers (Ultracet), something called Bease and a muscle relaxant. That fails and I go on to step 2, cafergot (migraine medicine). It takes 3-4 of those to finally get rid of it if I'm lucky. In the ER the doctor's try giving me IV painkillers but nowadays it takes two shots until the headache is gone.

Am I missing something? I'm certain a stronger muscle relaxant would work, but I am living in Korea, and anything strong is hard to find. I'm about to move to China where it'll be even tougher.

I've tried acupuncture, oriental cupping, massage, you name it. They just keep getting worse and more frequent.

If anyone knows a specific drug that works on these headaches I'd be grateful. Nothing I've tried works.
