Q: TMJ causing symptoms ?
asked by: jennikay on April 3rd, 2008

I was diagnosed with TMJ around six months ago and I have been having some very disturbing symptoms if anyone can help in any way I would appreciate it. The symptoms are as follows:

*Feeling of fullness on left side of my head and face.
*Strange tickling sensation on left side of forehead in a quarter sized spot.
*Dry and sometimes jumpy eyes with extreme light sensitivity.
*Dizziness that comes and goes.
*Itchy ears that become extreme when I cough.

The tickling is especially bothersome and it runs to my nose and makes it feel strange to breathe. If anyone can relate or has any kind of suggestion I would be grateful. Thank You. baffle

Extremely eHealthy
it could very well be the tmj. you may wnat to have your eyes checked for the sensitivity in your eye. an astygmatism causes light sensitivity and that isnt related to the tmj. the rest of this sounds like tmj though. I did pm you and if you need to talk more feel free to "bug" me at any time:)
