my eyes have been watery, feels like there is something in my eye, see blue flashes out of corner of my eyes...only when im driving...maybe something with the movement...and also floaters...will these go away with braces..several opinions by tmj orthos said that i have over bite....i noted the tmj pain when i noticed i could no longer bite properly or articulate sounds. The splint has made facial pain decrease, no more dizziness and no more feelngs of fullness in ears...have been getting temporal headaches though....any thoughts?????

Hi, Kasa2008.
I seem to have mostly dry eyes, but definitely experience more floaters and the light flashes with TMD -- especially when in bright light. OTC eye drops like Soothe or Sustane seem to help temporarily.

Glad to hear your splint is helping! That's great.

Hey all,
I have been experiencing similar symptoms with TMJ...especially the flashes of light when it is very bright outside. Do the OTC drops help with flahses of light?
Also, what other symptoms do you experience with your TMJ?
Thanks!!!
Lindsay
