Q: TMJ and ear ringing

Hi there, we are new to this forum.
My wife had some dental work done in October 2007 (she has TMJ).
She was having some silver filings replaced with the new white ones. Almost instantaneously she developed a ringing in her ears that she has 24/7.

We immediately contacted a jaw specialist about it.....she is on her 3rd bit splint and still has 24/7 ringing in her ears.

We are seeing a TMJ specialist at the Cleveland Clinic next week.

Is anybody familiar with what is going on with my wife or had a similar experiance.

She can no longer work, has insomnia, has lost weight and is becoming depressed.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

yes a lot of people have had tinitus with tmj problems. i went to a neuromuscular denitst and my rining stoped completly. I think you should take her to a chiropractor as well. also try some meletonin for sleep or some sour cherry extract. it will help her sleep.

if you need antyhg let me know

yes--i did want to mention that as well--after having them out you should look at doing a total body cleanse to get any mercury out of the system.
