Q: tkr side effects

i am 68yr old lady ,had undergone tkr of both knees 3years back. Now whenever i have viral infection my knees are attacked first as they become so stiff that i cant move even after taking analgesics.Kindly suggest what should i do? my doctor says knees are perfectly all right.
