Hello Doctors,

I need your help. Could you please elaborate on my condition.

I am 28 years old. I have had a small round hard lump (just a couple millimeters accross) near the top of my right testicle for about 2 years. It is near the epididymus, but is definitely not the epididymus itself.

My concerns are, in the past 3 months or so, there has been consistent ache/pain in the right testicle region and the epididymus seems very tender at times. This ache/pain can often last a few days, then go away for a couple days (on and off). About 2 months ago I had an ultrasound done as I feared I has TC, but after review of results my doctor said it was just small cyst, and that it should be okay, but to see him if pain continues. I just moved to the city I reside and do not trust my doctor, and would like to avoid a revisit unless the pain is extreme. I have to pay out of pocket for doctor visits.

I have done further research on the internet (not a credible source) and what I found is that testicular Cyst arent usually hard like mine, they aren't as small as mine (bb size), and usually grow at the epididymus (not on the testical itself, like mine).

I want to continually check myself to make sure the hard spot does not grow but it seems to cause faint pain/tenderness of the right testicle/epididymus that lasts a couple days. When I do check myself there is no immediate or sharp pain.

I also have really bad lower back pain when I sleep and when I wake up in the morning, but not during the day. (could just be a bad back).

I have had a very large vericocele vein mass in my other testical (left) ever since I was an infant, but there is no pain or irregularities with that testical.

Please let me know what your recommendations are based upon this very descriptive information. Most importantly, I want to be sure I dont have cancer.

If not cancer, what do you think it could be and what should I expect in the future? Do you have any recommendations for relief of this consistant prolonged pain/tenderness?

I too have the same exact symptoms. Seems we are not alone. Strange. I am going to a urologist to make sure, but from what I've been reading it is most likely a cyst. Better to be safe than sorry. Ill repost once I've gone to the doc and let you know. By the way I am 37 years old.
