Hi, I am 24 F.

It all started with ringing in my right ear. Went away for a week. Came back with a vengeance and started in the left too. PCP refers to ENT. Hearing test comes back mild loss in left ear, which was ringing so loud it was all I could hear- a high pitched squealing. Prednisone for 10 days reduces tinnitus 90%.

Then the pain started. Clicking and popping in my jaws when I open/close them. Worse neck pain than Im used to. Pain in the temples, head, and face. Severe pain in muscles in my cheek. Hurts to touch. Some lower back pain.

So here I am. Dentist made a night guard which seems not to be helping all that much. I am a severe teeth grinder. The tinnitus will lesson on weekends, almost going away into a faint electrical hiss, which I can live with. Monday rolls around and Im ringing like crazy. Stress I think?

Anyways I am taking flexeril, some 60$ co-pay NSAID thats not helping. Where do I go from here? Will I get better? Will the tinnitus subside? Please help covermouth
