Hi, I'm a pre-med / early stage diagnosed HIV patient and have tinnitus that occurred just before my diagnosis.

Does anyone know the cause of the tinnitus? Is this being caused somehow by the HIV infection?

Yes, viral infections can cause tinnitus, remember that viruses can affect nerves everywhere in the body, including the ears.
