i hope i'm writing in the write forum.

yesterday, after working a 10 hr shift, my girlfriend told me her feet were swollen and sore. she also told me she woke up a few times in middle of the night cause one of her toes (her ring toe, don't know which foot) was tingling for a few seconds. i didn't think of much but she just told me her toe is tingling again.

can someone please tell me what this can be?
i've been reading that diabetes can be related to this problem so i am worried. there are a lot of diabetics in her family.
