Tingling and prickling under skin - recovering alcoholic

Cig smoker and recovering alcoholic. Only COMPLETELY sober 2 mo. I suffer from unbearable tingling and prickling under my skin, head to toe. (including face, eyes, legs, shoulders, shins, feet, you get it...) Some places "poke" hotter or deeper than others.
During these times, I'm very tired/irritable/scared/freaked out. I can feel my heart flutter in my neck and chest. If I'm laying down, I feel like I'm falling.
Along with these frightening symptoms, one of the absolute worst is, an accompanying, vaginal burn, which is negative for STD.
This issue comes and goes, more so in the past year. Episodes last anywhere from 30 min to several hours. PVD? With proper treatment, will it go away? at least get better?
